This week on the pod, Dave shocks the fck out of John and Jeff and says he liked the movie Noah. A lot. He really dug the film, which is good since we're a positive pod, it just really caught us off guard! Before that shocker, we begin with a quick review of the movies that made noise in 2014 before getting into our deep dive. We start with a discussion of Ex Machina, which technically premiered in 2014 although it was released in 2015... whatever, this movie is awesome. We then discuss Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Riz Ahmed, wondering if it missed something that could have taken it to the next level. Finally, we wrap up with Harvard grad Darren Aronofsky's Noah: was it really that bad?
